Meet the Founder

Grey Matter Prep was created by an experienced Ontario educator who has spent nearly 20 years supporting students in secondary classrooms and learning support roles.

Over the years, one thing became clear: many students who struggle in school are capable and motivated — but feel overwhelmed, unsure where to begin, or lack the systems and strategies needed to manage increasing academic demands.

Grey Matter Prep was created to bridge that gap.

With experience in secondary classrooms, mathematics, special education, and learning support — and supporting a wide range of student needs — the goal is simple: help students feel more confident, more capable, and better equipped to navigate school successfully.

Grey Matter Prep combines practical strategies with a warm, encouraging approach — helping students build skills while feeling genuinely supported along the way.
