Strong literacy skills are the foundation for success in every subject — but for some students, reading and writing can begin to feel frustrating, overwhelming, or discouraging. LIT is a small-group, back-to-basics literacy program for students in Grades 4–8 who would benefit from extra support building core reading and writing skills.
Designed for students who may be struggling, falling behind, or simply lacking confidence, LIT focuses on strengthening foundational literacy skills through explicit instruction, guided practice, and practical strategies in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Program Details:
10-week program (two 90-minute sessions per week)
30 hours of instruction total
Small group (max 5 students)
Evidence informed, back-to-basics literacy instruction
After school snack included
Intake screening to ensure appropriate fit
Investment: $1500 (equivalent to $75 per 90-minute session)
